REF Realty Seller Expectations We realize your time is valuable and that is why we designed our website to be concise yet informative. We urge you to take the time to navigate the site and understand how our services will benefit you as a Seller. Whenever you may be ready to sell, you must consider your preference to sell as a “For Sale By Owner” (FSBO) or with the full assistance of a REF agent. To understand what responsibilities the FSBO process entails, we encourage you to review the FSBO vs. Agent page of the site. Once you decide if a FSBO or “hands on” agent role is the path for you, please refer to our Seller Programs to understand how REF Realty can help. REF has also created 3 categories to assist you in identifying your Selling status. See which category you may fit into and what your expectations should be of us: - “Now Seller”: Ready to move forward. You understand how our model operates and you have some questions, which we totally expect and are pleased to answer.
What to expect: If you are a “Now Seller” and are comfortable with signing the Listing Agreement, here’s what to do and how we follow-up:
Please print & sign your selected program's Exclusive Listing Documents , Disclosures and appropriate Property Information Form. Upon completion, fax to 781-322-4745, attention “Now Seller” or email to info@REF4less.com with the subject reading REF Now Seller. Place an original in the mail (make a copy for your records) and send to:
REF Realty Attn: REF "Now Seller" 376 Washington Street, Ste 101 Malden, MA 02148 - Please complete the property information form in its entirety. REF will not post your property listing on the MLS until all required information is filled in.
- Please reference the agent's name you have spoken with so we can have them contact you for follow-up after we receive your documents.
- Within 24 hours after we receive your signed fax, an agent will contact you to discuss next steps and you will be granted access to your Seller Strategy workbook.
- “50/50 Seller”: You have questions about our model and would like to address with a REF agent by phone, email or in person. The answers to your questions will determine whether you wish to proceed with us or not.
What to expect: Naturally, you will have questions and we will be happy to answer them. If you prefer to speak by phone or email or in person, please let us know by emailing us at info@ref4less.com or calling 781-322-4744.
If in person, we kindly request that all meetings be held in our office. We also request that all decision makers be present. Collectively, you will all have great questions to ask and we want to address them to everyone’s satisfaction. If all decision makers cannot attend, we kindly prefer to re-schedule until all are available.
We will provide a package of similar content that you reviewed on the website, but with the attention of an agent to discuss. Knowing you’re on a busy schedule, we prefer to keep the meetings to 1 hour, unless you prefer to stay longer.
We kindly request that you have your questions ready in advance so we can conduct an efficient meeting. We will also have some questions for you to determine if you are a fit for our model. After asking and answering our mutual questions, typically 1 of 2 things occur:- We are a fit for each other and you wish to proceed. We will provide your selected program's Listing Agreement and Disclosures for your signature and grant access to your Seller Strategy workbook.
- We may not be a fit for each other. If you choose not to proceed, that is OK. We want you to feel OK to say no. However, if you can think of any friends, family or business colleagues who may benefit from our savings and Seller Strategy workbook, we generously accept all referrals.
- “Future Seller”: You are not prepared to work with REF Realty at this time for one of the following reasons:
- Not ready to sell at this time, but will be in the future
- Simply prefer not to work with REF Realty and would like to work with another agency
What to expect: - If it is determined that you are not a “Now Seller” or “50/50 Seller” and prefer to hold off at this point, that is OK. We will not be a pest. Feel free to use our site at your leisure. Call us when you are ready to proceed.
- Saying “No” to us for any reason is absolutely OK. We will not be a nag and wish you the best of luck with whomever you decide to work with. As mentioned above, if you can think of any friends, family or business colleagues who may benefit from our savings and Seller Strategy, we generously accept any referrals you provide.
